Miriam Steinberg
Miriam Friedman Steinberg, M.Ed., Ed.S., MIRM, SRES, grew up in Sarasota, Florida and has called Gainesville home since 1973.
Miriam is an alumna of Santa Fe College and the University of Florida, where she earned degrees in Business, Health and Human Performance, and Education. She is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa, Kappa Delta Pi, and Mortar Board Honor Societies.
As co-founder of the Prestige Group of companies, Miriam developed, marketed, and managed new home communities, office buildings and shopping centers in Gainesville, as well as Hendersonville and Brevard, NC. New home communities include the Woodlands, the Trails, Brookfield, and Dylan’s Grove in Gainesville. Commercial ventures include Prestige Park Corporate Office Park, MetroCorp Office Park, Southgate Center Office/Warehouse Complex, The Festival Shopping Center, the Shoppes of Northwood, Oak Park Office Building, Keystone Heights Shopping Center, and Learnit Corporation Office Park.
Miriam’s professional designations through the National Association of Home Builders include Member-Institute of Residential Marketing (MIRM), Certified New Home Sales Professional, Master Certified New Home Sales Professional, Certified New Home Marketing Professional, Certified Aging In Place Specialist, and Certified Active Adult Specialist in Housing. Through National Association of Realtors she holds the designation Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES).
Miriam’s community service work includes Junior League of Gainesville, Gainesville Woman’s Club, and Magnolia Garden Club.
Miriam’s NAR, FAR and GACAR service includes the GACAR Property Management Council and Commercial Council. Through FAR she serves the Commercial Alliance Committee, the Land Use, Property Rights and Sustainable Development Breakout Group, the Legislative and Regulatory Business Issues Breakout Group, the State and Local Taxation Breakout Group, and the Resort and Second Home Specialist Committee.
Miriam brings to a real estate brokerage full service, experienced support with commercial transactions representing the interests of tenants, landlords, sellers, buyers and investors. She can offer consultations on land development, new homes community marketing, office/retail/industrial/agricultural leasing and property management, tenant representation, and buying or selling land/industrial/office/retail/investment and rental income growth properties. A second career in serving the 50+ community is in progress.
